DARK BACKGROUND- highlights an intense atmosphere that the programme has therefore outlines the genre of the programme

 

FONT AND COLOUR- Font appears to be a frosted colour and an old style therefore you could infer that it is set in a previous decade

 

BLUE ICE KING- highlights the cold atmosphere and possibly how characters are going to be harsh and have 'icy' cold personalities which adds to the intensity

this song is by KESHA, it is called praying. this video shows KESHA in many different locations from the church, to open waters, to her standing next to a stack of old TV's and also on a hill. KESHA uses many different locations in this music video to show the many emotions she felt/ feels when singing this song as it has a very deep meaning for her and makes her upset due to the background of the song, it makes her happy as she is finally free, makes her angry as she was trapped for such a long time and many more feelings and emotions. it begins with a monologue of her talking about her feeling dead inside and out, this is because she is feeling like she is alone and cant handle the ache of the trauma she has been put through. it then begins with her in a feathered outfit and then to her on the piano in a disco like outfit with wings to show she is free, free to fly and has a new angel looking over her, protecting her. she then walks past the stack of TV's with various different words and phrases on them such as "GOD" and "EVIL" showing she has a lack of hope i god and that evil is ruining her life and taking over her slowly. it then zooms into a TV with "TRUTH?" on it to ask if everything that has been said is the truth and can we believe it? the song is about Dr. Luke who abused her mentally, physically and sexually over a long period of time. KESHA's label company was with Sony. KESHA wasn't allowed to produce or release any new music as she tried to fight against Dr. Luke and he wouldn't allow her to do anything; so due to KESHA's attempts to be allowed to produce music she took him to court where she finally was freed from him after the years she was stuck. with her court date the word spread quickly and took the world by storm and with the help and support of many other artists and celebrities people began to fight back for not jut KESHA but for women's rights, rape and abuse of all kinds. a special celeb that helped KESHA was Taylor Swift who paid for the fee's of going to court. this is a very important song to KESHA as it shows the power he had over her blackmailing her into a depressed, unhappy life until she got her wings back and flew higher than ever before. this songs shows her weakest times in life and her soon to be highs with the release of her new album 'RAINBOW'
